About us
Kitchens for Good is a San Diego non-profit organization,
providing culinary, baking, and hospitality apprenticeships to individuals facing barriers to employment.
Our programs include skills training, professional development, and supportive services for apprentices redefining their lives. After histories of incarceration, housing insecurity, foster care, or other challenging circumstances, Kitchens for Good apprentices are on a journey of reinvention.
Kitchens for Good SHOP sells pre-loved kitchenware and décor as an extension of our mission. Every purchase or donation made at SHOP helps to fund Kitchens for Good's programs and services, which in turn helps change lives in San Diego.
Unique cookware items, appliances, specialty tools, and more arrive every day. SHOP also offers products created through Kitchens for Good’s micro-enterprise program. Micro-enterprise products are made by current and former apprentices who are turning their dreams of owning a business into a reality.
