Bacalao a la Vizacaína is a dish that not only brings people together but brings flavors together. Traditionally served during the winter season, Bacalao is salted cod that is later seasoned with a Tomato based sauce. Which is seasoned and accompanied by onions, garlic, and roasted red peppers. Following the flavors, the brine of olives gives it a kick of flavor as well. As a garnish, almonds, peppers and parsley are sprinkled on top when the final touches are ready.
Peppers and toasted almonds are served separate.
